Operation Paper Moon

Fifty years ago, on July 21, 1969, mankind first set foot upon the Moon, realizing a millenias-old dream. Or… did we?

SPOILER ALERT: This is a mockumentary, don’t take it seriously!

This film is the culmination of years of dogged research into previously classified documents, which reveal the secrets of Operation Paper Moon. Through interviews with the people who were part of it, we can finally share the story of the greatest cover-up and lie ever promulgated upon the American people by the US Government.

Note that we are required by law to say:

“This work is not endorsed by The National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA), and display of NASA images should not construe any implicit, tacit, or explicit agreement or disagreement with any of the facts documented in this work.”

However, we are free to add that you should examine the evidence and photographs for yourself! NASA documented everything they did, even the stuff you weren’t supposed to see until 50 years later.

All interviews have been conducted in strict accordance with DoD Directive Number 5230.09, DoD Manual Numbers 5105.21 and 5200.01 (as amended), and Executive Order 13526.

Don’t be surprised if you can’t find anything about Operation Paper Moon on Google. The Freedom of Information Act only requires that the government make specifically requested data available, it doesn’t require them to publish on the web. So do your own research like I did!
